What We Believe

Statements of Faith

We are a fellowship of believers devoted to growing in a personal relationship with God through Yeshua (Jesus).
We study the Bible together, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and book by book, and gather for worship and prayer.
We affirm the essentials of sound biblical doctrine and historic Christianity and seek to live them out in love, unity, and service.

  • WE BELIEVE that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is fully inspired by God, without error in the original manuscripts, and is the complete and final written revelation of God.
It is God-breathed and equips us for teaching, correcting, and training in righteousness.
(2 Timothy 3:15–17; 2 Peter 1:21). The Scriptures are the supreme authority for faith and conduct.

  • WE BELIEVE in one eternal and unchanging God, who exists in three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).

  • WE BELIEVE that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah, fully God and fully human.
He preexisted with God (John 1:1; Colossians 1:17), was born of the virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:34–35), lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; 7:26), died as the substitutionary sacrifice for our sins (Ephesians 1:7; 1 Corinthians 15:3), was buried (John 19:40-42), physically resurrected on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:4; John 2:19), ascended to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19; Acts 7:56), and intercedes for all who believe in Him (1 Timothy 2:5). He will return in power and glory to establish His reign (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11–16). Salvation is by grace through faith in Him alone, not by works.

  • WE BELIEVE that salvation is a gift of God’s grace received by faith. Believers are united with the Messiah and cannot be separated from His love. Spiritual growth is nurtured through the study
of God’s Word, prayer, worship, fellowship, and the exercise of spiritual gifts.
    (1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Ephesians 4:8–12).

  • WE BELIEVE that the nation of Israel has a unique and ongoing role in God’s redemptive plan. God’s covenant promises to Israel are irrevocable and will be fulfilled in His perfect timing, culminating in the return of Yeshua the Messiah to establish His millennial reign
    (Genesis 12:3; Romans 11:26–29).
Throughout the Scriptures, God’s enduring favor toward Israel is affirmed through covenant, blessing, preservation, restoration, and hope, as testified in both the Tanakh and the Apostolic Writings (Genesis; Deuteronomy; Psalms; Isaiah; Jeremiah; Zechariah; Romans).

We affirm that God’s work among the nations is, according to Scripture, intended to provoke Israel to jealousy (Romans 11:11–14). This “jealousy” is not rivalry, replacement, or hostility, but a holy awakening—a loving stirring of the Jewish heart to recognize the faithfulness of God and the fulfillment of His promises in Yeshua the Messiah. The calling of the nations is meant to serve God’s redemptive purposes for Israel with humility, gratitude, and honor, never arrogance.

We believe that Yeshua will return to theMount of Olives, the place of His ascension
(Acts 1:9–12), where His feet will stand according to prophecy, preparing the way for His earthly kingdom and the restoration of all things (Zechariah 14:4). Salvation proceeds from Zion and is proclaimed to the ends of the earth; therefore, we also affirm thatIsaiah 62:11–12carries a prophetic mandate extending to the distant coastlands and islands, including the islands of the Pacific, calling the nations to rejoice in the coming salvation of the Messiah and to participate humbly in God’s unfolding purposes for Israel and the world.

Pastoral Note: In keeping with Messianic Jewish understanding, “provoking to jealousy” (Romans 11) is understood as a redemptive and loving work of God, leading to repentance, restoration, and recognition of the Messiah—not competition, coercion, or rejection of Israel’s unique calling.

  • WE BELIEVE that Yeshua (Jesus) calls all His followers to make disciples of all nations, preaching the gospel to every person (Mark 16:15), baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey His Word (Matthew 28:18–20). As He promised, He is with us always, to the very end of the age.

  • WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, John 10:33. That He was born of a virgin. Matthew 1:23. Lived a sinless life. Hebrews 4:15. Performed miracles. John 2:11. Provided for the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the cross. Ephesians 1:7. His resurrection. I Corinthians 15:3,4. His ascension to the right hand of the Father. Mark 16:19. He is returning to earth in power and glory. Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16.

  • WE BELIEVE that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, by God's grace and faith alone we are saved. Redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit. All his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God destined to spend eternity with the Lord. John 3:16-19, 5:24; Romans 3:23, 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5

  • WE BELIEVE in the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Scriptures, and that they are valid for today if they are exercised within the scriptural guidelines. We as believers are to covet the best gifts, seeking to exercise them in love that the whole Body of Christ might be edified. We believe that love is more important than the most spectacular gifts, and without this love all exercise of spiritual gifts is worthless. 1 Corinthians 13:2 "Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts." 1 Corinthians 14:1. "Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing." Thessalonians 5:11

  • WE BELIEVE the Great Commission, we are to Make Disciples "go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28: 19,20
